STAFF & DATA SECURITY
Existing and prospective clients can be completely confident their intellectual property and confidential information are in good hands, when working with Signet and its entire staff. Nearly all of our engagements necessitate access to highly confidential data. Consequently, our success over more than a quarter of a century has necessitated the development of systems and protocols that ensure personal identity information (PII) and sensitive information (SI) are treated with the greatest protective care possible.
Background Investigations
Comprehensively vetting all prospective employees, which has always been an internal corporate practice, is only the beginning. As the result of the highly visible and publicly sensitive work we routinely perform on behalf of many of our federal agency clients, our employees must successfully meet the stringent standards set by the government's extensive background investigative process. Clearances resulting from these exhaustive investigations are absolute requirements for each of our employees, professional and administrative alike, prior to accessing client data.
Signet has developed and maintains a formal Corporate Technology and Information Systems Policy that provides detailed guidance and restrictions that govern the acceptable use of Signet-provided equipment and electronic services by employees and subcontractors.
We engage an outside technology firm to provide third party data security surveillance and oversight of all of our electronic systems. A thorough security audit was followed by the installation of up-to-date security hardware, software and operating protocols. Ongoing, routine firmware and firewall audits are provided along with outside monitoring of our overall data security compliance.
